Not only can solar projects produce American-made energy right here in Indiana, but they can also create good-paying jobs, provide a major boost for local economies, reduce carbon emissions, improve air quality, and increase energy independence. In contrast to residential development and most other forms of energy development, solar projects also protect farmland for future generations.

I support solar projects across the State of Indiana - including Fountain County. It will not only produce clean, reliable, American-made energy, but it will also create jobs, benefit our economy, and increase energy independence.

Our schools and the services we rely on each day will be improved thanks to the project, as it will generate significant, long-term, stable tax revenue to fund local schools, police, fire and other critical services.

Additionally, the project, which will be built on private land, will protect private property rights. Landowners should be free to use their land as they see fit, including to generate clean energy from the sun.
